a little good news!

Sara was released from the hospital late yesterday and was able to go back to the apartment, returning to the hospital daily as an outpatient to keep close tabs on her status. The treatment seems to finally be getting some results, the rejection has stabilized and some areas in the bowel are doing better. Sara still feels really bad, but the doctors think things may improve from here. Sara got to sleep in her own bed for a change, and was able to go to Target and walk around for a few minutes without an IV pole! Still plenty of issues, but taking one baby step at a time. Our whole family, and Sara in particular, thank you all profusely for your prayers and notes of support. Will update again when the rejection has finally subsided …m2

  2. Just checking in with you! Wondering how your week has been....
We were talking the other day about how much we are looking forward to having you, your mom and dad, and Jillian over to our Freeport house to celebrate your recovery with you!
My daughter and I were in Target today, and of course we thought of your last trip to Target....hopefully you have been able to go again...
Please remember that we are praying each day for you-not only our family, but our friends, co-workers, and of course our prayer teams all over!
    Update as you are able!!

  3. Minnesota checking in as well! Many loud "thank God"s resonated here with your last post! We are praying that this is the beginning of your complete healing. We are holding you in our hearts and prayers at all times, for whatever you need, day by day, to make it through this! I am praying that you feel God beside you, and those of us who are lifting you up in many prayers.

    Much love,
    Linda
