Day 3: Sara was moved from the ICU to a special wing for organ transplant patients, a more traditional hospital room with a lot fewer wires and monitors. GOOD: She was stabilized and released from the ICU ahead of schedule. BAD: Sara is still hitting 10's on pain and is having a very tough time dealing with it. Pain meds can't be increased due to the negative effect on the newly transplanted bowel.
We feel your support every hour of the day. Saying thanks doesn't adequately express it. It DOES make a difference to Sara and our family! ...m2

Keep up the good work Sara and we'll keep up the prayers. Maybe some special pain relief prayers can be said, I'll put my mother on that one she seems to get better results. Hummm what does that say about me? As always our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
