Roller coaster
Sara is continuing to have days with incremental improvements followed by bad days that severely test her spirit. Sara had an Ileoscopy yesterday (images of her new bowel taken with a flexible scope) that showed her newly transplanted bowel to be very healthy. The transplant is good so far, but the recovery process is proving to be very difficult. We expect her to stay in the up and down cycle for a while. I won’t post again until Sara breaks out of that cycle, and hopefully by then Sara can begin to report on herself again …m2

This evening Sara was added to the prayer list at St. Mary Cathedral Austin. Keep fighting the good fight and we will keep bombarding the Good Lord with our prayers.

Sara-
ReplyDeleteYou and your family help me to keep things in perspective...you help me to stay grateful for the simple blessings of life, for my health, for things that I take for granted.
You will get through these difficult days and what a testimony you will continue to have!
I look forward to meeting you in person soon!

Greetings, Sara-
ReplyDeleteI thought of you earlier this morning during a counseling session. This couple was nit-picking about stuff, and all the little "issues" they are arguing about.....quite honestly, I thought to myself: they don't have a clue about life's challenges...
Sara, when you get out of that hospital, and on your feet, we'll have to chat about stuff-
so, keep being hopelessly hopeful, and we'll keep the prayers coming on your behalf! Hugs to you and to your folks-
Eriko
