surgery on Friday, 10/1
The scoping of Sara's small bowel today showed continuing severe rejection. Since Sara is not responding well to the drug treatments, the doctor decided to surgically remove part of the bowel tomorrow. Once inside, the surgical team will assess the viability of the bowel and may remove the entire organ. We will update the blog site after the surgery once we know more...m2
